Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision)

AMT Technologies is looking for a machine learning engineer with experience in computer vision, to join the team on an initially part-time basis (20 hrs/week). We are based in Nairobi, and are building driver assistive technology to address road safety challenges in Africa.

As a machine learning engineer, you will be a core member of the engineering team, tasked primarily with tuning, training and deploying mostly computer vision machine learning models into production.

The ideal candidate:

• Thoroughly understands the requirements and steps to develop, train, launch and maintain machine learning models in production
• Is fluent in Python and/or C++
• Has experience working with machine learning libraries such as Tensorflow and/or PyTorch
• Has experience developing models and deploying them into production enviroments
• Understands various image processing techniques and has experience working with OpenCV
• Has solid core software engineering skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience in the automotive, mobility or logistics industries
• Experience with embedded systems
