Traction Camp is a regional acceleration program aimed at nurturing startups in East Africa, so as to create globally competitive, growth-oriented, mobile and digital technology businesses. The program is supported by the World Bank Group’s infoDev program and the governments of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Kenya.
We will conduct a series of information outreach workshops across the region for digital entrepreneurs. The main purpose of these workshops is to inform on some of the areas that we will be looking for in startups during the program, inform on the curriculum of the program and key activities of the program among others.
The first workshop will be held in Nairobi at the iHub on 19th January from 5.00 - 7.00pm. Subsequent informational workshops will be held in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia in partnership with Tech hubs across the region in the coming weeks.
