The group aim is to build a community where there is sharing of skills through training and a vibrant discussion around digital marketing and social media use in meetups as is the tradition with community groups

This is not an advanced course, but one that will show you the A-Z in digital marketing, starting with a brief overview of the history of the internet and how it has become such a pivotal part of our daily lives.

Training Weekends - Digital 101 One Day Curriculum Entails:

1. Introduction to Digital Marketing

 This workshop will take you briefly through all the different elements of online marketing and how they fit together to run an online campaign.

2. Traditional Versus Digital Media

What exactly is the difference between digital marketing and traditional marketing and why are the benefits of going digital? This section will help you understand the difference between traditional and digital media, what can be achieved and how best to use digital marketing platforms for your needs.

3. Introduction to Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Want to know how to make your website easily found on the Internet? This introduction to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) breaks down the secret to a successful web presence and the tips and tricks that will help your website reach the top of the Google search page.

4. Content Marketing

Content Marketing is more than just a digital marketing buzzword, it’s the lifeblood of your digital marketing. In this section we will cover how to create compelling, valuable content that will help you to build a strong following and reach more people online.

5.  Social Media

This workshop will show how to use social media to maximize your reach, create compelling content and learn the skills necessary to take a brand from zero to hero.
