Pjotr Prins is visiting Nairobi's Linux Group. In his presentation he will share examples from his work on and solutions.

Pjotr Prins is a very experienced software engineer and entrepreneur based in the Netherlands working with European and US-based business and academia.

Pjotr grew up in Zambia and is currently involved with startups in fitness and open data automotive telematics with challenges in big data software engineering, HPC GPU computing, artificial intelligence and functional programming. 

Pjotr is a contributer to the GNU Guix software, packaging/deployment effort so if you have ever struggled with software dependencies then you need to know about GNU Guix which finally gives you full control over the dependencies in a software stack.
