It's one month to the DevCraft 2018 conference. DevCraft is a conference for and by designers and software developers with the aim of raising the quality of the software craft in Kenya. The conference pools together some of the brightest minds in the local tech ecosystem to network, share their knowledge and learn from industry experts over the course of 2 days. This year's conference will take place on the 27th and 28th of September 2018. Here are a few updates and reasons for you to attend this awesome event:

We are pleased to announce that our keynote speakers at the conference are Caine Wanjau - CTO, Twiga Foods and Dr. Chao Mbogo (Ph.D.), Head of Computer Science Department at Kenya Methodist University.

We have also curated exciting panels and hands-on workshops at the conference to cover a range of hot topic issues like blockchain, opportunities for artificial intelligence and machine learning, unpacking the slow adoption of design thinking- the patterns, technologies and the disconnect, hiring for technology companies among other topics. Workshops will cover how to deploy Google cloud platforms, working with microservices, game design, and IOT.
