Traction Camp Nairobi Outreach Workshop

Traction Camp is a regional acceleration program aimed at nurturing  startups in East Africa, so as to create globally competitive, growth-oriented, mobile and digital technology businesses. The program is supported by the World Bank Group’s infoDev program and the governments of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Kenya.

The program is currently seeking applications for its first cohort. The call for applications is open till the 12th of February 2017. Startups interested in participating in the program can apply HERE

We will conduct a series of information outreach workshops across the region for digital entrepreneurs. The main purpose of these workshops is to inform on requirements of the program, introduce the curriculum of the program and some of the key activities.

The first workshop will be held in Nairobi at the iHub on 19th January from 5.00 - 7.00pm. Subsequent informational workshops will be held in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia in partnership with Tech hubs across the region in the coming weeks.

The workshop will be an eye opener for all entrepreneurs and especially those planning to participate in the program. Important information and any clarifications about Traction Camp Program will be addressed during the question - answer session at the end of the workshop.
