The Mozilla Science Lab fellows will be grazing the 2016 Data Science Jam to give a talk on best practices in data science. The following topics will be covered;

  • GIS and Mapping Tools (geo command line - prof-geo)
  • OSSR Course
  • Biomedical research and open data practice
  • Data mining the scientific literature // decentralized data infrastructure // Command Line tools

 

The Mozilla Fellowships for Science offers an opportunity for researchers who want to influence the future of open science and data sharing within their communities. Fellows act as community catalysts in mentoring the next generation of open data practitioners and researchers and building lasting change in the global open science community.
