Role Description

Caytree Partners is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineering intern to assist with its software testing efforts. The individual will be responsible for testing the Firm’s flagship software products, ensuring that they meets the specified requirements and ensuring that they are stable, reliable and secure. High potential candidates will be given the opportunity to help design and test our QA process, working with senior members of our engineering team.

The individual is expected to work collaboratively to provide guidance within Caytree Partners on technical issues around software testing and support as needed. The individual will work directly with the management and development team. Depending on overall potential, this engineer may have additional development responsibilities towards the enhancement of the current product offering and may have opportunities to work on front-end development

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a meticulous attention for detail, a relentless passion for excellence, and a strong sense of self-discipline. Particular preference will be given to candidates with degree-level programming proficiency and who have prior experience software testing. Additional preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with C sharp, ASP.net, JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML 5, and some experience with WordPress.  We expect that candidates will just be getting out of University/College or are just starting out their careers and have studied these technologies.

Compensation

The gross pay for this 6-month internship is Ksh. 20,000/- to 30,000/- per month.
