*iHub_ – Nairobi’s Innovation Hub for the technology community is an open space for the technologists, investors, tech companies and hackers in the area.

This space is a tech community facility with a focus on young entrepreneurs, web and mobile phone programmers, designers and researchers. It is part open community workspace (co-working), part vector for investors and VCs and part incubator.

The organization has expertise in technology research and facilitates local ICT research capacity in the region. iHub Research shares stories about the vibrant East African technology community by conducting ICT research on technology innovation within the community.

We aim to change the ICT Research landscape in Africa by bringing together researchers from around the continent to collaborate and build greater African scholarship.

The iHub UX Lab is the first User Experience lab in sub-Saharan Africa that will put together a flexible, efficient and state of the art User Experience design testing space as well as provide designers with global standard master classes to improve their competitiveness.

It will have both training and testing facilities and will offer master classes in design and design thinking. We will help develop the UX culture in sub-Saharan Africa as well as help find and fill the African UX gap. We need you to join us to make this happen.
