Last week we profiled a green member with a Robotic Ardor. Well here is your chance to take a deep dive in Artificial Intelligence. An online version of Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, is being taught by Sebastian Thrun and Peter Norvig. The curriculum draws from that used in Stanford's introductory Artificial Intelligence course. The instructors will offer similar materials, assignments, and exams. Enrollment is currently open and will run until the 9th of October 2011. The course runs from the 10th of October 2011 - 18th of December, 2011. The class is divided into 2 tracks due to its popularity:
  • the basic track - in which you watch lectures and answer basic quizzes. This is not the full course. But you will still learn all the basics of AI.
  • the advanced track - is the full class, which aspires to be of Stanford difficulty. You get to do homework assignments and take exams.
You can also join the iHub Robotics Google group lead by Caine Wanjau and Jessica Colaco to encourage collaborative learning during the course. ENROLL NOW!
