Visualizing Data Driven Documents | Nairobi JS June Meetup
This Saturday 14th Nairobi JavaScript enthusiasts will meet to discuss data visualization at the iHub. D3.js will be the feature of the day. D3.js is a JavaScript library for creating rich visualizations on the web based on data. D3 helps you bring data to life using HTML, SVG and CSS. D3’s emphasis on web standards gives you the full capabilities of modern browsers without tying yourself to a proprietary framework, combining powerful visualization components and a data-driven approach to DOM manipulation. We will create simple visualizations using various datasets
  • Hard-coded data
  • Ushahidi api data
  • A realtime twitter datastream
Are you a developer? Welcome to learn and share ideas. You might want to give yourself some heads-up by downloading and trying out D3 from Are you a business analyst? Come and witness different ways of visualizing your data. Lunch will be provided courtesy of Ushahidi. Interested in presenting? Book your time: info [at]
