Android and HTML5 Training with Intel
m:lab East Africa in partnership with Intel will be conducting a five week training on developing apps for Android and HTML5 platforms. The training will be held from the 5th August - 18th September 2013, at the m:lab East Africa training facility. mlab_logo_simple

The training will include concepts of Product Ideation and User Experience to complement the developer’s programming skills for quality app development. After the initial class contact hours, trainers will provide additional coaching hours to support trainees in their class projects.

Developers enrolled in the training will be expected to develop at least one android application to be published in a global application store such as Samsung Apps or Google Play

To be selected as a successful applicant, one needs to have satisfied the following requirements:

  • Proven experience in Android, Java, and basic HTML
  • Must have at least one android application published on a global app store or available via a web address
  • The training will cost Ksh 6,000 to be paid in cash on the first day prior to the commencement of the training. Half of this amount constitutes a refundable commitment fee.
