Every individual has it in them to change the world. On the 24th of September 2012, the Social Good Summit is asking thousands of people all over the planet to meet up, in person and online, to find ways of changing the world together - using internet technology. It's an opportunity that we think is too good to pass up. The Social Good Summit is usually a three-day event held in New York, and it connects key leaders and tech innovators with citizens all over the world to find digital solutions to global problems. The people behind it are the web-news site Mashable, UNDP, the UN Foundation, Ericsson, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 92Y. This year, for the first time, the Summit is going around the world, coming to Nairobi and to Beijing. We'll get the most exciting tech companies and innovators talking to people who can bring power, influence or capital to the table, and live-stream their conversations back to the main Summit in New York – and around the world. If you're lucky, you might be able to join them on the day, ask questions during the live debates, and meet them in person afterwards. So if you have a passion for tech innovation and want to join us in using that passion to make the world a better place, get in touch via email at [email protected] and let us know what you bring to the table!
